Description
Adoption File #HW-007 · Puppet Wing
Origin: A cardboard box marked “KIDS’ TV — DO NOT OPEN,” untouched since 1987 · Status: Crew, solo, fleece-forward · Partner status: unknown (witness protection, landfill, or still performing as a different animal)
She looks exactly like what you’d expect a children’s television sock puppet to look like — if that puppet had been quietly retired, stored in a humid basement, and left to think about what fame costs when the cameras stop rolling.
White fleece. Black button eyes that have watched the Nielsen ratings fall. A pink felt mouth frozen mid-sentence from a bit that never aired. Floppy ears. A faint lipstick smear from a thousand goodbye kisses to an audience that now has grandchildren and back pain.
We cannot confirm she ever had a television career. We cannot deny she waves at empty rooms when she thinks nobody is watching. We absolutely will not say the word “Lamb” in official paperwork, but you already knew that before you clicked.
Not recommended for: children who still believe puppets are innocent, adults who remember afternoon PBS with uncomfortable clarity, anyone hoping to complete a pair, or people who need their socks to stop making eye contact.
Adoption note: Darkly funny. Mildly haunted. Pair status unknown — probably for the best. No refunds once she learns your name.
