Rex was meant for one workout. That was four years ago. He was removed from a gym bag, worn once, rolled into a ball, and forgotten behind a collapsible stroller and three reusable grocery totes that also gave up on their dreams.

We found him during a Sock Widow field audit of vehicles that “definitely still run fine.” He was wedged near a floor mat with a single goldfish cracker and the ghost of a podcast about optimization.

He still believes in reps. He just no longer believes in scheduled maintenance.
